The doctors had their hands full on the eve of KJ Noons vs. Nick Diaz. The aforementioned fight was stopped after the first due to some nasty gashes on the eyes of Nick Diaz. Although KJ was winning the fight in its entirety until it was stopped, Diaz was not able to get Noons to the ground where he could reign supreme, instead Noons showed spectacular take down defense and beautiful boxing to take the Elite XC light weight championship belt.
Kimbo's official entry into the world of sanctioned MMA was a short but sweet one. He came out like he knew the cage better than the street and hit his opponent with a hard uppercut sending the frightnened challenger to the ground tapping out before he recieved any more punishment. From the looks of that fight the journeyman fighter must have been on YouTube all day watching Kimbo's brawls just shakin!
Dr Seth Kleinbeck had a nasty cut above his left eye that also called a halt to the action, handing the Aussie his first win on American soil.
