Andy Lee, being hailed as the next big thing and even appearing on some peoples pound for pound best, was upset by Contender star Brian Vera. It took seven rounds to get the job done, and as he said himself, "it wasnt pretty" but it worked. The stoppage appeared pre-mature to me, but there were no complaints from Manny Steward as the ref declared it a TKO in the seventh.
