This past weekend's ShoXC ended in controversy as did the last challenger series. This time it was an early stoppage that caused all of the fuss, when Poai Suganuma came out and blasted Jared Hamman with a big punch and a flying knee that momentarily had Hamman out and on the canvas. Recovered quickly and was on his way up while the ref was running over to stop the fight. To the ref's credit he was out when he hit the ground, if only for a second. The crowd in there was fucking stupid booing Suganuma who looked sharp and deserved none of the heckling.
