Exclusive: Junior "Poison" Jones Interview
This week I had a chance to talk to a true boxing legend and one of my favorite boxers of all time Brooklyn's own Junior "Poison" Jones. Poison pulled no punches when talking to Dumb Out and touched on many subjects, including how he got in to boxing, his most memorable fights, and what he thinks of mma. I have many memories of watching him beat many great boxers on HBO. His list of opponents include Marco Antonio Barrera, who he beat two times, Orlando Canizales, Erik Morales, Kennedy McKinney, Paul Ingle, and many more. I even saw him box live once in 2002 in his last pro fight at the Pontiac Silverdome. I was disappointed that he lost but I still was happy to see one of my all time favorites live. This is a man who could out work and box you but was never afraid to mix it up and put it all on the line, he left it all in the ring. He has left an indelible mark in boxing history and anyone who has seen him fight period.

Loved the Barrera fight, you got some power for a 126er. In the Morales fight it was going pretty good there until 20 secs left in the fourth.
Do you think the fight should have been stopped ? I think if JPJ had made it until the end of the fourth he had a little more in the tank for Morales.
