During the Strikeforce conference call Fedor Emelienko stated that the numbers that are floating around the internet are far from the actual numbers offered by the UFC. He also stated that the UFC doesn't treat fighters like human beings, and that he does not care for their attitude towards the fighters. He also address the discontent with the fans in not signing with the UFC saying that he does not keep up with the rumors, he also stated that if the numbers that were portrayed online were an accurate representation that he would have signed with the UFC. His manager Vadim also commented on Fedor's status staying that Fedor's name is bigger than that of the UFC outside of America, and that he would bring fame to them by signing with Dana and company. Fedor again was asked about the backlash from fans in the US and the anger directed at him for not signing with UFC and denying fans of a Brock Lesner fight. He stated that he was very sorry that he dissapointed anyone of his fans, but that he also thinks he deserves some respect for his personal interests.
