After an uninspired one sided loss to Kermit Cintron, Alfredo "El Pero" Angulo responded on ESPN2's FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS in exciting fashion to TKO Gabriel Rosado in just two rounds. After the Cintron fight I was dissapointed with Angulo and thought he looked flat. In fact he looked more like Fredo from the Godfather not Alfredo a prizefighter, not last night. Although it was against lesser oppisiton he did what he had to do. In order to get his identity back as a tuff no guts no glory prize fighter he had to win and win impressively. Even though Rosado ignored the first rule of boxing ( protect your self at all time) he still would have got TKOed. Angulo was hungry to get back into the ring and prove himself with another win. Once Rosado was hurt Alfredo smelled the blood and ferociously mauled his oponent with combinations to the head and body with bad intentions. He has a few technical things that better opposition will exploit like bouncing up and down in fron of his opponent, standing so straight up and down while in front, and comming in straight forward not on an angle. Apperently he has some bite left in him. Only time and a step up in class will tell if he is for real, either way he is entertaining and has the heart of a real fighter. I hope he has continued sucess.
