James Kirkland is going to be getting out in 6-9 months due to time served and good behavior. He was originally locked up on federal firearm charges. He allegedly had his girl buy a gun at a gun show that was under federal surveillance, not too smart when your already on probation for armed robbery. Everyone makes mistakes and takes things for granted just not in a high profile position. I hope this is a wake up call and he can learn from his mistake. Not everyone is so lucky to have Oscar De La Hoya testify on their behalf. Most people in his situation would have got many years behind bars. I wish him nothing but the best and hope he can get some big fights and do well in boxing for years to come. I know that Ann Wolf will be glad to have him back to work and she will back him if he stays with her. She did a good job thus far, if you don't believe me ask Joel Julio.
