LATIN FURY 12 IN NEW YORK: JUANMA AND GAMBOA LOOK TO IMPRESS

Latin Fury is a perfect name for tonight's PPV, especially when you have Juan Manuel Lopez and Yuriorkis Gamboa on the same card. With a total of 41 fights between them and 37 ending in knockout you can clearly see they fight with hell's fury. I have to give it to Bob Arum, he has two young exciting fighters who instead of protecting he is lining them up for a climactic showdown. Juan Manuel Lopez (26-0, 24 KOs) is going up against Rogers Mtagwa (26-12-2, 18 KOs) and Yuriorkis Gamboa (15-0, 13 KOs) is matched against Whyber Garcia (22-6-0, 15KOs). They no doubt will be scouting each other for when they step in the squared circle together. The Latin Fury cards are always exciting and a lot of fun and tonight should be no different. The two future superstars can't wait to get in the ring with each other and do battle and we can't wait either. This match up should be good for boxing and its fans alike. The only person standing in the way of this fight is Celestino Caballero (33-2-0, 23 KOs) . He is the best Jr. Featherweight in the world and has been calling for a shot at Lopez for some time. He is very good freakishly tall for 122 and has a reach advantage on Lopez. So no wonder why Arum wants Lopez to jump to Featherweight and fight Gamboa first. Caballero has been calling Lopez out and is rumored to be going tonight to personally challenge Lopez. If Juanma wants to be a superstar he has to fight everyone at 122 before he goes to 126 like a true champ. I think they will all end up fighting each other in the future but the question is when. Tonight should be fun, exciting and action packed and should give us some barometer of when they will all fight.
