Shane Carwin: "It is my goal to become a master of the stand up game"

I had the chance to ask Shane Carwin a couple of questions today during his online chat at the UG. 

Q. Have you sparred with any Heavyweight Boxers? If so how did you fair against them in the gym?

I have sparred with a lot of great MMA fighters and boxers. I love the stand up game and it is my goal to become a master of the stand up game.

Q. Are you happy with the compensation you receive from the UFC?

Being 1 fight off the prelims I feel like I am where I need to be. My manager gets me paid from my time outside of the Octagon. I have always been taken care of behind the scenes and I appreciate the opportunity.

Q. Do you feel the UFC's exclusivity rules are hurting the sport of MMA by preventing fights from happening and not allowing a universal ranking system to determine title fights/challengers and so on?

but I didn't get a response to that one, either because he didn't want to touch that one or because he missed it.
