Perez and Ramos Get Down to Business on SHO-BOX

Alejandro Perez vs. Rico Ramos (NABO Youth Championship)

These two young super-bantamweights started the evening out on SHO-BOX in explosive fashion. In a wildly entertaining contest which played out like a highlight reel on repeat, Ramos showcased his skill and power while Perez showed his huge heart and hard head. Ramos out boxed and out punched Perez, but Perez never stopped coming forward and soldiered on. Perez had never hit the canvas in his professional career before this fight in which he was knocked down in the second round via a Ramos counter. Ramos was ultimately the better fighter with Perez only winning 1 round by my score, but he never stopped trying and was competitive enough to keep it entertaining.
