DANNY GREEN TAKES ROY JONES JR. IN THE FIRST

It was a powerful right hand that put Roy down in the first that he was never able to recover from. After the knockdown the Aussie swarmed Roy and finished him with a violent flurry. Referee Howard Foster jumped in to save Roy and called a halt to the bout at 2:02 of the 1ST round. Danny can now celebrate a great victory against a way past his prime Jones. Roy will have to take a deep look in the mirror and figure out if he wants to embarrass himself and the sport any more. Will he retire probably, he should because if Danny Williams could knockout Roy so easy B-Hop would destroy him. Danny Williams has always had a powerful punch and now people will get to see it in action on Versus tonight. Congratulations to Danny Green and Roy hang up the gloves please. The bottom line is Roy doesn't have the speed anymore and that has exposed his lack of boxing skill. He shouldn't be disappointed about this loss because he was old and out of his prime. However he should be upset that he squandered his prime by not taking tough fights with more dangerous opposition like this back then. Thanks for destroying the rematch with B-Hop by trying to add another Alphabet title to your collection.
