It seems like only yesterday we were covering the 84 All VALLEY KARATE TOURNAMENT. Dumb Out Fight Sports was there to cover the unbeatable Johnny Lawrence out of the Cobra Kai dojo. Sensei John Kreese had a tough reputation of developing the best prospects in karate and Johnny Lawrence was no different. Johnny was the hottest karate prospect in many years to come out of California. No one thought he would loose to the black horse in the tournament Daniel Larusso, not even us. Even despite being and unknown who just recently moved from New Jersey and being injured didn't stop Daniel's quick rise to the top. He defeated every opponent he faced including many Cobra Kai rivals. Making it to the finals would have been awesome enough let alone beating his toughest rival in Johnny Lawrence. The crane-kick that Larusso displayed to finish Lawrence and win the tournament was second to none. I only wish he would have been around in this current age of mixed martial arts. Because I know he would have dominated the likes of G.S.P., Anderson Silva, B.J Penn, and anyone else. Many people close to the fighter even said that he dominated a young Lyoto Machida in a sparing session, and he even ducked Daniel when he traveled to Brazil. Daniel Larusso you simply are the best that is why were dedicating this video to you.
