Andre Berto pulled out of his January 30Th welterweight bout with Sugar Shane Mosley. Andre has lost several family members in this devastating earthquake. Haiti is one of the poorest nations in the world so it will take some time to get that country back to normal. If it were me in that horrible situation and I lost family members I would be in no way ready to be in public let alone fight. All we can do in this situation is pray for the Berto family and the Haitian people. I know that Andre will come out of this situation a stronger human being and he will use it as motivation to win in the future. With Mosley looking for a new dance partner and Floyd Mayweather looking for one as well, maybe they can fight. Golden Boy's Richard Schaefer is working for a Mayweather VS Mosley fight. Mosley called out Mayweather in person in the ring after the Marquez fight, so you know he wants the fight. It would answer all the big questions people everywhere are asking if Floyd signed that fight. If they can work out a deal to fight it could be a one of the biggest fights at welterweight in a long time. I hope the deal gets made and we get to see a great fight but more importantly I hope the Berto family can recover.
