Michigan Residents Rejoice: Dirrell vs. Abraham in Detroit
Mlive reports that Detroit's Joe Louis Arena or Cobo center will play host to a pivotal match in the Super-Six tournament on March 27th. Flint resident Andre Dirrell will get his crack at the unbeaten Armenian/German Arthur Abraham and won't have to deal with judges overseas like the ones who awarded a unanimous decision to Carl Froch in Dirrell's first fight in the tourney. Many people, including myself, thought that Dirrell won the fight against Froch except for the hometown crowd and the judges. Dirrell has the tools to out-box Abraham but Abraham has the x-factor that is his KO power and iron chin. Michigan has not hosted a fight of this magnitude in years and it is about time big events returned to The Motor City.

Looks like Dirrell got something positive out of this "back injury" biz. He realised fighting around LA would have been like fighting in Nottingham, maybe not the judging...lol
BUT U know its gonna be a classic at Joe Louis... makes me wanna fly out to the D...=) Hats off to Artur for willing to go to barrio Matrix on Woodword and Jefferson to send a message to rest of SSix that dont get out of the Bay area... Saurland should consider Staples Center for AA-AW in the final stage, if Andre's doesnt mind driving past Bakersfield. yalla, we throw in JC Chavez jr vs. The Nightmare undercard so Bob Arum can wet his beak as well. Sold Out Staples...
With 5 other friends, we are flying to Detroit to celebrate King Artur's new victory. AA will destroy Dirrell even in Dirrell's back yard.
DAMN! U NEED TO CALM DOWN.
