Martin Honorio Plays Spoiler To Another Undefeated Up And Comer

Friday Night Fights has been a blessing for Martin Honorio. He was brought in to showcase John Molina in his last fight and spoiled the Goosen proteges big stage debut as he won a solid decision. Tonight's fight was also against an undefeated fighter, albeit one with only 13 fights, and Honorio shined again as he battered Hilario.

Martin knocked his opponent down twice in the sixth round and headhunted for the remainder of the fight. Will Honorio ever be be a top level competitor? Maybe not as he was smoked when he stepped up to face Robert Guerrero and was KO'd in the first round. However, promoters are going to have to step his competition up because Martin is taking out some of the young prospects steadily.

Wilton Hilario had heart and never stopped trying to win all the way to the last bell (A little after the bell actually) but rushed in with his head and swung wildly never putting Honorio in any real danger.

Martin Honorio Def. Wilton Hilario UD (120-106; 119-107; 119-107)
Rico Ramos Def. Cecilio Santos KO 1:19 RD 4(Body Shot)
Michael Dallas Jr. Def. Fabian Luque KO 2:58 RD 1
