Exclusive: James Lee Talks UFC in Detroit, Return to The Ring, and Strippers!
James Lee is a staple of the Michigan MMA scene and one of the coolest mofos you'll meet in the game so it's a shame that he won't be competing on the UFC's first card in Detroit since 1996. Lee has had an extended absence from combat sports since injuring his back in his last fight and some legal issues with some unscrupulous gym owners which may have led to some fans thinking he was retired. That is not the case. The injury coupled with legal troubles from a dispute with his former fight team home have kept him in limbo, but he tells us that it won't be long until he is ready to compete again. Having fought for the UFC, Pride, and a number of other promotions since the days of NHB, we look forward to seeing Detroit's own hold it down for Michigan in the cage soon. James also talks to us about meathead MMA fans, UFC in Detroit, and Strippers. Check out the interview and if you are a Michigan MMA hopeful be sure to get down with James Lee's Mash Fight Team.
