Vitali Klitschko W 12 Shannon Briggs SCORES: 120-107, 120-105, 120-107Most of the boxing world thought that Shannon Briggs wouldn't stand a chance against Dr. Ironfist, and they were right. Vitali put a man size beating on Briggs that he will not soon forget. Briggs some how made it to the final bell after 12 rounds of pain. Every time either of the klitschkos get in the ring they glide to victory. Shannon is an old heavyweight retread but he has power, but that didn't matter against the elder Klitschko. From the opening bell you could see who came to fight, and it wasn't Briggs. The only type of offense he was able, or willing to muster was the singular body shot. He only threw a handful of right hands, and landed only a couple. Klitschko jabbed, hooked, and pot-shotted Shannon around at will. He couldn't knockout the challenger, but he did inflict serious enough damage send him to the hospital. Dr. Ironfist left the 50-50 deal on the table if Haye wants to step up next. I don't think he will be that willing after the way Klitschko disposed of Briggs.
