Mile High Club

UFN 04/02/2008
Great night of fights last night, with a three hour telecast of UFN followed by the middleweight tournament on TUF.

Alexander/Irvin
WOW. We knew this one wasn't going the distance, but 8 seconds are fucking kidding me? the stoppage seemed a bit pre-mature, but on looking at the replay Houston did drop from consciousness for a second, and had it gone any longer he would have no doubt been out.

Diaz/Pellegrino
Look Ma, no hands! A celebration ensued before the tapout when Diaz locked his legs on the triangle he knew it was over.

Hamill/Boetsch
The altitude along with the smothering wrestling ability of The Hammer were too much for his Jeet Kun Do. Boetsch did manage to open a vagina-like cut on Hamill's lip that was flapping in the post fight interview.

Maynard/Edgar
Somebody's O had to go as they say, and it was Edgar's who said bye bye. It "was a good scrap" as Maynard would put it. It went the distance and Maynard's take downs were the difference.

Parisyan/Alves
Ouch! So close the were the title aspirations of KP that if the title shot farted it would've tingled his nose hairs. Alves landed a bomb knee to the button of KP, and followed it up with some GNP to finish him out. Another seemingly quick stoppage in Denver.

Florian/Lauzon
Ben Stiller defeats the Bat Boy! Another good fight to close the night out. The action went both ways likes Jenna Jameson for most of the fight until Ken-Flo got the mount, and that was all she wrote.

Johnson/Speer
Ko of the night for sure. I wasnt expecting much from this match-up mainly because I didnt really know alot about Johnson. Wow, amazing speed and power to boot. Welterweights look out for this guy!
