The fan's in Portland were treated to a match up of legendary Heavyweight fighters as the hometown guy Randy Couture and Antonio Minotauro Nogueira went for broke for three rounds. Minotauro took the fight with crisper boxing, and multiple submission attempts, while Couture commanded massive applause for escaping harrowing positions and near TKO beatings from the Brazilian. The fight was a long time coming and it was exciting to see two of the sports best finally get the chance to face off. Minotauro walked away with the unanimous desicion win and looks to be back to his old self after a lackluster performance against Frank Mir in December. Antonio proclaimed that he was ready for Brock Lesner and another shot at UFC gold. The full results from UFC 102 are below:
