"The Prince of Persia" Defeats Dave Jansen at WEC 46

Dave Jansen was not able to continue his undefeated streak against the Iranian wrestler Kamal Shalorus. Shalorus, an undefeated fighter himself, won the bout with his superior wrestling whcich he used to keep the fight standing mostly, his strong chin, and wild boxing. It was not pretty when it came to the hands, as Shalorus threw punches like he was throwing fastball pitches at an MLB game, but it was effective as he bloodied and bruised jansen throughout. "The Price of Persia" was able to shrug off any take down attempts from Jansen and keep battering him with wild punches and take downs that were executed so well that it looked absolutely effortless. Kamal walks away with a unanimous decision victory in his second WEC appearance. Shalorus is way to rough in his stand up, but is able to get away with it due to his iron chin and supreme wrestling ability, but he will need to work hard on his boxing as he climbs the ranks of the 155lb division.
