WEC 48 Results: Aldo Dominates, Bendo Retains Belt

Jose Aldo put on a display of dominance over the former champion Urijah Faber that "The California Kid" is not soon to forget. Jose nearly removed Faber's lead leg with brutal kicks which sent Faber to the mat and twirling in pain. Aldo takes home a UD victory over the promotions longest standing champion and cements his spot amongst the p4p greats.
Benson Henderson quickly tapped "The Cowboy" in their rematch of the epic 2009 confrontation that had fight of the year written on for many fight fans. Henderson caught Cerrone in a tight guillotine for the tap in under two minutes to retain the title.
Mike Brown was surprisingly knocked out in his fight with Manny Gamburyan in a fight that could determine the next challenger to Jose Aldo's crown. Dana White alluded to the fact that Brown had missed two weeks of training camp and was dealing with personal issues at the post fight presser. Not wanting to take anything away from Manvil, but that was not the Mike Brown that dominated Faber.
