JI-HOON KIM WINS HIS 13 FIGHT IN A ROW

Ji-Hoon Kim TKO Ameth Diaz TIME: 2:59

It took just less then a round for Ji-Hoon Kim to KO a game, and ready Ameth Diaz. Kim is a always come forward, all action pressure fighter, who never disappoints. He can be out boxed, and timed with counter punches, but he is so relentless it doesn't matter. Ameth Diaz was winning the first round by moving, and landing punches on Kim. It looked like it was going to be a long night for Kim but he just kept coming forward to land his power shots. He was taking punishment and being out boxed by the quicker Diaz, until the last few seconds of the 1st round. When Diaz was leaning to his right Ji-Hoon landed a hard punch to the temple area that sent him down. When you get hit in that part of your head it takes your legs away and your equilibrium is shot. Diaz got up but he wasn't on stable ground, so referee Robert Gonzalez called a halt to the bout. With this win in the IBF lightweight title eliminator Kim moves that much closer to a big, title shot. The IBF 135 lb lightweight title Kim is trying to win is currently vacant at this time. He is an action fighter and fun to watch, however I'm not so sure he can be one of the best in the division. He will probably lose when he steps up in competition but if he can get that IBF title he will get the bigger fights he wants. Either way I'm always looking forward to watching fighters like Kim, and more importantly so do the American fight fans.
