The Ultimate Finale 10 Results: Nelson is TUF Winner

Matt Mitrione knocks out Marcus Jones
Marcus Jones cannot stand with any heavyweight in the UFC. On the ground he is outstanding, but if he hopes to continue his mixed martial arts career he needs to fix up that clumsy robotic stand up of his.
Frankie Edgar weathers the early storm to stop Veach
Matt Veach was able to have sucess in the first round with multiple takedowns and a couple of Hughes-esque slams. Edgar however wasn't discouraged and came out to rock and then submit Veach in the second.
Bocek submits the newcomer
Mark Bocek stops his debuting opponent in the first round via a standing rear naked choke to get the tapout.
Kimbo Slice: Ground technician??
In a fight that promised fireworks Houston Alexander chose to circle incessantly and throw the occasional leg kick while Kimbo followed him around the Octagon unable to engage. In round two however we saw Kimbo slam Alexander to the ground with such force that it looked for a moment that Houston's neck may be broken. The fight overall was pretty underwhelming without much action from Alexander, but Kimbo did show progress as he went for take-downs, secured the mount, and went for submission attempts. Can Kimbo have success on the ground with someone other than Alexander? Only time will tell, but if he learns how to check leg kicks and progresses on the ground he will be a decent MMA fighter.
Jon Jones dominates Hamill gets rewarded with a DQ loss
Jon Jones completely dominates Matt Hamill in all facets of the game and the fight should have been stopped before the diqualification, but as Jones pounded Matt with elbows the fight was called because of an illegel elbow that was straight up and down to Hamill's face. Hamill knows he lost, everyone that saw the fight knows that Jones deserves all of the hype he is getting and this is just another case of bad judgment by the referee.
McSweeney stops teammate Schoonover
In a grueling three rounder between members of team Rashad James McSweeney got the last word stopping Darrill Schoonover via strikes in the last moments of the fight.
Nelson KO's Schaub to become this seasons Ultimate Fighter winner
Schaub is younger and faster than Roy Nelson but that was not enough to take it to the vet. Schaub had success in the standup game early but was caught by a big punch to the side of the head and another punch on the ground to finish the job.
