Saturday's boxing was supposed to showcase the talent of Vanes Martirosyan but it was the veteran Kassim Ouma who impressed. Kassim Ouma used his pressure style, no room for you to be effective to make Vanes uncomfortable. Vanes Martirosyan looked nerves before the fight and sloppy and unsure of himself during the fight. Kassim seemed do be doing enough to win the early rounds and I had him winning by a couple of rounds on my card. Every time Vanes got the fight going his way he couldn't keep it there. Ouma was relentless in his content pursuit of Martirosyan and it paid off in the 9Th when he knocked him down. What this fight shows us is Kassim is still good and Martirosyan has a lot of work to do.
